MEET JAMES YAEGASHI!

House Rules is a compelling dark comedy written by Labbie A. Rey Pamatmat, directed by Ralph B. Pena, and featuring the dynamic James Yaegashi as Rod!

Hi James! We are so happy to have you be a part of House Rules.  This isn’t your first time working with Ma-Yi, is it?
It isn’t!  I worked on I_NY and I’ve participated in some readings here in the past.

Well, we’re glad to have you back.  What are you looking forward to most in this rehearsal process?
Playing with all the talented people in the room.

It’s a good group… So why should someone come see this play?
It’s a quietly reverberating play that will hit home in many ways.

What’s your favorite game?
Poker

Classic.  Is there any game that your family makes up its own rules for?
Uno.  We have brutal house rules.

Do you have any odd special skills or unusual hobbies?
Not odd, but I practice aikido.

What is your favorite late night snack?
Whiskey.

Anything you want to say to your mom and dad?
Miss you.
