Diana Oh: actor/singer-songwriter/performing artist/theatremaker. A Refinery29’s Top 14 LGBTQ Influencer, First Queer Korean-American interviewed on Korean Broadcast Radio, 2016 Van Lier Fellow in Acting (Asian American Arts Alliance) and Finalist in Writing (The Lark). Creator of {my lingerie play}, ten underground performance installations in my lingerie staged in an effort to provide a saner, safer, more respectful world for women to live in featured on People.com, mic, Upworthy, Marie Claire Netherlands, Huffington Post and is the recipient of a Venturous Capital Grant for 2017, as she creates 8 brand new street installations culminating into {my lingerie play}: Installation 9/10: THE FINAL INSTALLATION, a concert event and call to arms of artistic warfare premiering at Rattlestick in co-production with Ma-Yi in September 2017 (previous development at Joe’s Pub, EST, and All For One.) She will be in concert in April 2017 at The Center (www.gaycenter.org). Creations include {my lingerie play}: Installation 5/10 which has been performed in Union Square and University of Louisianna Lafayette, Diana Oh is GOING ROGUE (terraNOVA Collective), Kimchi Mamas and the Dirty Disco (New Georges, NYU Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program), Hot Sauce Water (an interview-play about her father’s political activism in the face of violence and torture), Me Time (a performance art piece presented at Beatriz Viterbo). She is part of the developing team of Baby No More Times, a pop concert with a feminist twist (The Lark, Ars Nova) and proud member of the U.S. Open, a band with Jeff Biehl, Steve Boyer, William Jackson Harper, and Shawn Randall.
